Lock 8 Equipment is seeking a hardworking and reliable Stock & Order Processing Coordinator to join our team. The Stock & Order Processing Coordinator will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to operate a computer to input data into inventory management software, the ability to lift heavy objects, and some driving for pickup truck deliveries. 

 

Responsibilities:

·       Safety Compliance: Always adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.

·       Customer Assistance: Process customer inquiries and transactions as they enter the store, providing exceptional customer service.

·       Telecommunications: Answer phone calls and emails to redirect them as necessary, providing professional customer service.

·       Material Handling: Load and unload materials, ensuring accurate and timely movement of inventory.

·       Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.

·       Manual Labour: Perform manual labour tasks as needed, contributing to various warehouse activities.

·       Quality Assurance: Follow a quality management process to ensure accuracy and consistency in warehouse operations.

·       Machinery Operation: Operate machinery and tools as required for handling materials.

·       Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.

·       Supplier Relations: Contact and follow up with suppliers regarding orders and inventory needs.

·       Shipping and Receiving: Weigh, pack, and book couriers for outgoing shipments, and count and receive inventory as required.

·       Order Fulfillment: Fill customer orders accurately and efficiently through computer processing and manual packaging.

·       Payment Handling: Receive payments for orders and maintain accurate financial records.

·       Stockroom Maintenance: Ensure the stockroom is well-organized and inventory is easily accessible.

·       Winter Maintenance: Assist in salting parking lots during winter months when necessary.

·       Cylinder Work Orders: Assist with processing cylinder work orders, which may involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

·       Team Collaboration: Collaborate with and assist other team members as needed to achieve operational goals.

·       Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the warehouse operations.
